Intensive Therapy, or “high-impact therapy,” can be an extended session or a multi-day therapeutic immersion. When appropriate, it offers individuals, adult family members, partners and couples the opportunity to explore issues deeply, process their meaning and impact, and understand how they inform us today. It can be a powerful step in therapy to articulate goals and treatment plans.
- This is significant treatment in a short timeframe. These sessions are curated; they are driven by the specific individual’s, family’s or couple’s needs and goals. Subsequent meetings can be spread out over a longer period.
- Together, we can address past hurts and explore how a someone wants to shape their relationship going forward. We provide a safe environment that allows individuals, families and couples to gain a different perspective on memories and experiences and move closer towards healing.
- Clients dictate the pace and intensity of the experience; all therapeutic activity is by permission.
